Caroline and Neil’s vision for their wedding was for a day that was traditional and relaxed where everyone would have good fun. They definitely succeeded!

Here is the day in their own words:

“We wanted feeling of winter warmth for our guests and to include a touch of the festive period.  The day exceeded our expectations as Lainston House fitted our plans to have a wedding which was intimate and magnificent all at the same time. The Lainston House is absolutely stunning and the staff were brilliant and charming throughout. It was the perfect setting for our winter wedding with its open fires and beautiful views.

After months of planning, we were more than pleased with the beautifully festive flowers, candles, table plans and decorations which were pulled together to create the warm, elegant and enchanting atmosphere we had envisioned. The Dawley Barn looked even more spectacular for the wedding breakfast than we had planned.

Highlights

Our shared highlights include the moment the bride walked into the ceremony and we saw each other as one of our favourite songs played. We had anticipated this would be an extremely emotional moment but both agree it stands out by far as the most vivid and happiest memory we have of the day. Also, thanks to Nick, this moment has been captured in stunning and very natural photos. Another moment which we really enjoyed was when we walked into the wedding breakfast and all our most favourite people clapped and cheered. We felt very loved and overjoyed to have all our friends and family in one place.”

After the wedding I received this lovely note from Caroline and Neil:

“After taking the time to look at all the photographs and share them with our family we both would like to say a huge thank you for the all of the beautiful photos. As you will see from our soon to be sent out thank you cards, we have too many favourites and could not choose just one for the cards! Each time we look through the photos we like them more and more some how and all our family agrees you have captured so many moments so very well and none of us can remember you being there most of the time, which is quite the skill. Thank you so much.”
