When you have selected your photographs I will be notified of your selection. Please then complete the form at the bottom of this page.
I will design the layout and send you a digital proof. You will have a chance to make any changes to the selection and layout before the album is printed. In fact it will only go to print when you are 100% happy with the way it looks. I will then invoice you for the cost of the album(s) and when this is paid, the layout will be sent off for printing.
Lead times can be quite long for albums - especially in the summer months when I am very busy with weddings and in the run-up to Christmas when the printers are very busy. If you want an album by Christmas, the layout needs to be signed off in early November.
Other album sizes, number of pages and options are available and I am also happy to quote for other bespoke requirements, for example if you would like an album form a specific supplier. Prices include VAT where applicable and shipping to UK mainland.
My approach to photographing the day and the subsequent layout of the album is to tell the story of the day. The album should be the final, perfect edit of all your hundreds of wedding photographs - it is not a proof book, so it’s best to resist the temptation to stuff it with as many photographs as possible; be ruthless!
Too many pictures will dilute the impact of the very best ones.
Albums also look better when the photographs are not too crowded on the page. My album designs are clean and simple. You should choose photographs from all parts of the day, not forgetting to include some scene-setting and details shots. As a guide, if I have posted a blog entry about your wedding, those are the shots I would choose for your album, but if not, do take a look at some recent blog posts and see how the incidental shots add to the story of the day.
Choose different photos if you can - not two shots that are almost the same, unless they are part of a sequence that you particularly want to show.
I regret that I am not able to include other photographs (i.e. from you or your guests) in the album.
