Eltham Palace wedding photographer.
Liliya and Matteo were married at a beautiful ceremony at St. Peter’s Italian Church – a little slice of Italy in Central London! I’d been looking forward to this day since I’d spent a great afternoon with the couple on their engagement shoot a couple of months earlier.
Liliya got ready at The Clarendon Hotel in Blackheath and after the service the reception was held at the wonderful Eltham Palace, steeped in history and once home of Henry VII. The magnificent medieval Great Hall survives alongside the decadent Art Deco house built in the 1930s by the wealthy Courtauld family.
The gardens of Eltham Palace provided a lovely backdrop for the photographs in the late summer sunshine, and even with the views over to the London skyline it feels a million miles from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Liliya and Matteo had organised their day to perfection, and the staff at Eltham Palace were wonderful. A really lovely day!
